It'd be cool if they erected a little buddhist shrine or something though. Not for the religious co-option of the moon, but simply the cultural achievement and aesthetic, like "check this shit out, theres an elephant statue covered in beads and incense, on the moon."

Just the general weirdness and aesthetic factor would make it worth it.
