I've never had a code review.
Eventhough I proposed to my boss that we at least review our intern's code once a week, he doesn't think it is needed.
Our intern writes ugly, shitty code...
it usually takes hours for me to fix his abominations... but yeah, what the boss says is always the best.

    Easy fix: log all your hours you fix his shitty code on a separate task and when your boss complains you can show what a drain on resources the intern is.

    @kwilliams but that way you're just point the finger at him, without even giving him the chance to improve.

    With a code review, he might pick up on his mistakes and start improving. Without it, you're just gonna look like a dick and you're gonna kill his will to improve.

    You can't know what you don't know, unless somebody tells you

    You're pointing out to the P.O. that the intern is costing 1 hour per week dev time, so a 1h per two weeks code review is better value for money.
