    Why tho...

    And also €19.99!?
  • 2
@incognito This has some extras. And a manuel for rare pc users.
    But still expensive as Hell.

ITS SOOO BAD. I HATE IT. KILL IT WITH FIRE AND SNORT THE ASHES
  • 3
@1nfinite Hopefully part of the revenue will get donated.
  • 2
@1nfinite why snort the ash when you can snort something better

@LinusCDE It's Saturn. They gotta pay the product, the space it uses and it's workers. That thing right there is a waste of money x.x

@lithiex I have to admit it really uneccessary:
    - People who need a manual wanna have a physical one, not a PDF (the 9,99€ one) for which another manual is needed to open it.
    - Who cares about 1k fonts?

    But this actually does:
    - Show that not only MS Office is a reputable Office Suite.
    - HOPEFULLY helps the LO-Team by donating them Money.
    - Increase Maeketshare and knowledge of the Software among non tech-people.

I just hurried back to saturn and looked for a hint of Donation:
At least not on the outside. Only "We are not responsible for any faults regarding this Software", etc... .

Hope this is legal according to the libreoffice license...
  • 3
@linuxxx hopefully not. Saturn should get sued and pay for the bullshit they are doing. Although they would come with something like "that's the price for the CD and not for the software license"
  • 3
    But why...
I don't even want to use it as a free product 🤣
  • 2
People will make money out of anything and worst of all people buy it. 🤔 Anyway anyone wanna buy bag of fresh air €10.00 +P&P 🕵🏻

@Alice no that would be extra €9.99 bargain honest! Its called up selling 😂
  • 2
    @LinusCDE absolute class 😂
  • 3
Do you guys think I could sell vim? 😏 with manual on how to exit obviously
  • 3
@b3b3 Ask them: https://www.mut.de/software.html (in german)
They're the seller of the LibreOffice-Pack.

You just need to make a manual for seniors then you can sell it. Seems to be their business.

@LinusCDE dann möchte ich aber, daß vim mit pinker Verpackung verkauft wird! (Über vim könnte ich gefühlt ne Bibel schreiben)
  • 1
@b3b3 Seh ich. 😁 (wegen dem 'daß' anstatt 'dass').

    ---

I see. 😁 (because of 'daß' instead of 'dass').
  • 1
@LinusCDE what exactly do you see based on 'daß'?
  • 1
@b3b3 I'm 18 years old. And nobody in my age uses 'daß'.
  • 1
@b3b3 (It was not intened to offemd you.)
  • 1
@LinusCDE haha lol np. I'm just used to it. My German teacher kills me everyday for that. I feel old so it doesn't matter anyways
  • 2
@b3b3 Nice. I personally don't really care. I only know that it is a writing style of old german books.
I also know several people who outright hate seeing 'daß' anywhere.

It's Saturn. Wasn't there a thing that you can go there and tell them you found it cheaper on the internet and you will get it for the price you found on the web? Hmm... 😂
  • 1
@cvonderstein Yea. My father did this when buying his phone.
He just searched the price on saturn.de on one of their phones and showed this to them and got about 15€ off. 👍🏽
