I'm an experienced developer, in my facebook I liked all the pages about programming languages and developing, but Facebook keeps advertising me "the book to learn how to code in 24 hours" or "the tutorial to build a website without paying a developer" or the one in the image below.

What the fuck facebook? Are you trying to say I'm useless?

This is what you get for using Facebook, they are after money and ads are cash cows. Expect anything

@gitpush I know, I just expected more by their AI lol I gave them all the clues for a correct advertising and they're sucking.

Anyways I use facebook for developer groups, I have a group for each language and it's useful to ask a fast doubt or to share and find blog posts. Porgramming forums aren't such fast.

Oh, and obviously memes. There are memes on facebook.

@crisz the thing they charge for just seeing the ad, I'm sure they'll throw anything generally related to earn more. I don't expect them to give exaclty what users want

This is by chance, my future job depending on how the company moves forward 😩

Skrew monolithic beasts (mind you this would save me from going grey and bald) but drag and drop front ends 😢

No, it's just the media being the media and use these meaningless buzzwords and buzzphrases to make life easier on the lazy muggles that, "just don't know where to start."

That's why I don't use Facebook anymore. It's just a fuckfest of stupid tutorials and lifehacks that no one ever uses.

You get those ads because those are the only ones forking cash to be advertised to users like you. Simple. Few complex products are advertised on FB because it's not the most optimal environment for it.

Finally uncle Sam can build his own Facebook (but better) without paying those avid developers!

I keep getting treehouse ads... I am almost finished getting my degree no I am not interested in your courses. On EVERY video I watch. It is like they want me to use an adblocker.

Spot on @TheCapeGeek, someone is paying for the ads, and big opensource framework don't have the cash or know that FB will not target their audience.

How to code: drag and drop calculators on website pages and press 'save'

Reminds me of a client I once had:
"Why do you write so much code to build this site?! Not everything needs code! Use Photoshop and Flash!"

    @TheCapeGreek you're 100% right

@Noob I'm really sorry for you

@areontar I don't think it's just FOSS not paying for it, but rather bigger/better funded projects and teams don't care for it for the perceived benefit.

It's a protocol between humans which has a well defined meaning

You should be able to downvote the Ad with the "..."

Also, I'm curious how powerful (or lack there of) "Bubble" is. If it's legit then hell yeah! Lol. Maybe I'll try and make a sexy UI for my command-line utility. xD
