 If there is no critical corrosion happening right now during the "cleanup" ... I would give him a real chance to boot this thing π

				Well if you exaclty know how to properly renove all the soap and dry it, then it will be no problem. But I wouldn't leave the CPU in for 2 Reasons: The pins on the bottom could trap liquid longer than you may think the dry-up takes and secondly the CPU has a tiny hole, so better dont get liquid in there or you are fucked and have to delid it.
 
 Other than that: No worries. It is normal that in electronics repair shops you put the stuff in an ultrasonic bath.
