Im trying to find a Linux home!

Been using Ubuntu for about a year now for schoolwork and before i was on arch Linux.

Just wanted to hear from devrant what distro is your favorit?

My favorite? Gentoo.

Though for a machine that's not ment to a black hole for time^2, Ubuntu.

I find that Ubuntu generally doesn't get in my way and has decently up to date packages.

Arch kinda have the same problem as Gentoo, it entices me to waste time tinkering around...

Arch with Deepin as DE. I've tried about 8 distros this year and so far this is the setup i like the most 🙂

Edit: I boot in 7s on a cheap ssd 😍

The only one i actually use is Debian (more like raspbian, but they’re similar).

@Dacexi I don't understand why you guys care of you boot time on Linux. I mean, why care of boot time when you can almost never reboot? I have an uptime of 55 days now, so my boot took less than 0.01% of my time anyway 🤔

@QCat I can't sleep with anything plugged into the wall lol. One of my autistic traits ☺

@Dacexi My gf has the same problem for the same reason, so the computer either lies in the living room, or get forcefully and immorally unplugged when I am at her place xD
