so i got offers to work as game developer,i think they are not a company but small indie dev and want me to join their team,the work is remote and they are using revenue share to pay me,my question is how to avoid or sue them if they gonna scam me,like when the project is done and they just dissappears,they give doc to sign and inside all is all abour privacy policy,work details and my signature

    Don't go for revenue share. It's most likely a scam, but I'm only going with what you've said.

    Negotiate an hourly rate, that would be the best, or a monthly rate. You'd be safer that way.

    @SidTheITGuy they only want with revenue share,and i got 5%,im confuse because i dont have any job rn and thats just make interest with that offers

    I was involved in such a schema before, but then I got job and insisted some money to continue working and since none came I left it... las solo contributor, don't know if so finished it

    A 5% revenue share with no base salary is a joke.

    @Siko because it's relative and you need a baseline stable income to survive.. your good contribution to the product will not be paid if it flops at sales, but that's maybe only 5% in your control. And it's easy to abuse if you don't have a permanent view on the total revenue.
