I have just realised this. I have my laptop for over a year now and I haven't changed my Desktop wallpaper for both installations of Windows & Ubuntu.

I am officially old (and lame probably).

Same here. Yesterday I changed my wallpaper because I noticed my screen was starting to get the old wallpaper burned-in.

@cafecortado That's really a thing? I couldn't think of it happening to my screen because I always keep switching apps, never leaving the desktop open for long times.

@kobenz Turning light off is pretty a day-one thing to do, Do it once and never ever revert it.

I try to change mine along with the seasons' mood changes. And I use photos I take myself.

I had thyme (growing not far from my homestead) wallpaper for this summer, and now I changed it to frosty carrot leaves in my garden.

I don't change my work laptop's wallpaper that often though. Might be a good time to do so - thank you

I have space wallpaper that changes.

Also, it is okay if you want to put anime on your desktop. We will judge, but not much.
