I'm working with a therapist. Though, I have other priorities.
Also, my anxiety is directly caused by my gender dysphoria, so I don't see it going away until I completely finish my transition. -
Cyanite84917y@NoMad
I have no formal qualifacations, though..
I don't even have any public git repos worth looking at atm. -

Thanks for you help. I'll try these, but I doubt anything will come of it. I tried freelancer.com before, but I was having so much trouble comunicating with the cliants that I gave up after a hand full of tries.
What I would really love (which is never going to happen..) would be some sort of paid apprenticeship under a dev. -
Cyanite84917y@NoMad
I'd be more than happy to accept underpaid outsourced work from someone over like.. Telegram, or something.. xD lol -
Wcked1417y@Cyanite do you know PHP or JS? No need a senior, I actually was looking for a junior. I have a full time job but also do freelancing as an Android Developer. I have been asked by the company I usually do projects for ( an automotive company, they don't have any developers) to do a breakdown app. I can take care of the actual app, but a backend is required and I don't have time for it because of my day job. They told me I can get someone else to help me and they will pay for it. If you are interested, please let me know, I would love to help a fellow devRanter with this occasion. 😊
Oh, and most importantly, underpaying is out of discussion, developers deserve reward for their work!! (Payment is done by PayPal) -

No, but I have a deep understanding of programming as a whole, and I could always learn.
For future reference: I know Python, Java, and a hint of C (Arduino).
I learned Java in two weeks. -
Wcked1417y@Cyanite I am sure you can, as one of my uni teacher told me, give me 1 week and I will learn any programming languages, only the syntax are different, the principle is the same :) Send me an email at sebiradutoiu@gmail.com ( please note it's not the email address I usually use and I will reply from another quite similar) so I have your email address and I will send you more info about the project :)

elazar10307yYou don't need to aim low. You are talented, so be confident about yourself.
Good luck! -

My talent is currentally making me $11/mo.
Whilst I have $50-80/mo worth of bills that my parents are having to cover. -
gitblame9137yDon't worry too much about formal qualifications, the dev landscape changes so fast that the degree I got is really only good for the few things that remained the same. Also if you're gonna freelance the client isn't interested, all they care about is that you solve their problem. Preferably as fast as possible and as cheap as possible. But don't undersell yourself. People don't trust work that seems too cheap. Charge a regular rate, pay your bills and save the rest. Invest it in useful books and courses. I also dare say speaking from experience that while freelancing is scary it is also very empowering and will grow your self esteem which will help with anxiety too. Best of luck!

@Cyanite I might have something for you, since you have an understanding of python. I'm looking for a QA tester

Sounds great! I'm a bit rusty on my Python, but I actually picked up an old project last night to help me get back into it. I've already cleaned up a lot of my old code, implimented new features, and upgreaded my code to Python3. -
Cyanite84917y@iSwimInTheC
You can message me on Telegram @TheCyaniteProject or email me allison@thecyaniteproject.net (I'll reply from another) if that's better for you. -
@Cyanite alright. That is totally fine. I need to do some prepatory work. Let me get a slack started so we can discuss :)

n3xus34147yFreelancer.com or do Minecraft/game development. I know it sounds childish but you can charge rich kids and their gameservers hundreds of dollars for the simplest things.

I really really want to start working.
I have social anxiety, but my mom is really on my ass about bringing in money. I need some sort of job that I can do from home on my computer.
Something related to programming.. Administration.. Whatever. I don't mind having to learn something new to find work.
I have no formal qualifacations.
I don't care how easy or hard it is, as long as I can make at least $100/mo.
