@Yahoo If you intend to switch to Linux I'd suggest Manjaro. It hits the sweet spot between the "latest and up to date" Arch and stable ubuntu. Been using it for the past 3 years without any issues.

I ran the auto install script where it says "Sorry, GlancesAutoInstall script it not complaint with your system." In the install script it checks if the distro name is in the specific list of supported distros and manjaro isn't in the list.

@theKarlisK Bitlocker is still present but it won't open (maybe crashes on start). It looks like ms screwed up trying to fix another recent bug which compromised bitlocker's SSD encryption.

If you are building your PC then I would suggest ryzen 7 2700x. If you want to go with Intel then i7 8700k is the best valued one right now. 2700x is better than 8700k in everything except gaming. For ml the bare minimum you need is gtx 1060. Unless you are a hardcore competitive gamer, go for any ryzen processor instead of the similar Intel one. Gtx 1070ti + ryzen 7 would be the best combo and also future proof without being overkill.

@Yamakuzure you need the keys to decrypt the message. You might cut down on the time to crack the message if you know the algorithm but still it would take time in the magnitude of years. So knowing the algorithm poses no threat to the security of the app.

@irene it's illegal to keep apple spare parts with you unless you are an apple certified technician and to be apple certified you need to work at apple care. Also almost everything on their shitty motherboard is soldered.
