Intern next to me is given high praise for creating a simple VBasic gui for excel. I get stuck with Middle and Backend work. I wish I could say my internship is easy money (he can atleast) but I like the challenge.

I love hackathons where I have a team and all but 1 or 2 ppl including me are still programming for 24 hrs instead sleeping.

Database Prof - "Your final project is a program or app that deals with big data and showcases data analysis. Make something that can be used by consumers and has real-world application."

(After the Day of Showcasing Projects)
Database Prof -
(What he should have said on Day 1) - "Make something that makes me laugh with added data."

Irrational Programmer's Response to Problems - "I tried, if I couldn't find a solution to it, then it's impossible."

Designed and worked on a website with no help and no assistance from the "head programmer" since he was leaving.

He told me he could have done what I have done since "you programmed it in bootstraps"

Me - "I feel really accomplished"

Co-worker - "I'm gonna use this design, that you made, for my interviews for jobs and say I made it"
