So after a weekend where the first case in my city was discovered. So work has sent us all home to work. Been an interesting day so far.

So I am releasing one of my side projects to a staging env right and holy crap there is some crazy amount of bullshit to do. Like simple things for the most part.

Oh I forgot to put a health checking route on the server. Or oh I need to have that in an environment variable jeeezzzz.

Web pack can go die in a pox infected hole. I have spent the better part of a day trying to fix a non existent problem cause the slime covered spunk receptical that is webpack can not figure out that it should load changed fucking files.

You know what is awesome. React with Redux. It is such a clean and scalable pattern for building UI. Conceptually not that easy but on once you have it. So much better than any other pattern I have seen.

But what fucks me off is working with other librarys with it not hard just fucking annoying.

Hey everybody been a while but I have a rant. Swift fucking swift and IOS dev. Okay so been learning swift for some frontend casual work, no worries they are lending me a mac to work in.

Now comes the rant part IOS is fine to work in I dont have any qualms about platform but.. FOR THE LOVE OF COMMON FUCKING SENSE GET SOME FUCKING CONSISTENCY.

You have made swift statically typed language to supposedly make developing more consistant and better fine no worries i dont like static typed languages cause they are unnecessary but fine. then you go NAH FUCK IT EVERYTHING IN A MODULE IS IN GLOBAL SCOPE, FUCK IMPORT STATEMENTS, FUCK MAINTAINABILITY AND FUCK YOU FOR ASKING.

You know what really sucks. Looking for work. Been at this for ages now and still have not had any offers, a few interview but no offers. So damn demoralizing.

Holy crap, My first app has just been approved on the apple app store!!!

This is a short tale that can be summed up as "oh fuck meee".

After finishing an API the night before I settled in for a day of bug fixes and tidy ups. Until slack went off.

The front end dev was getting an error, a code breaking error. After doing the standard process of request checking i went okay must be me. I find the script that is has the error and the line that it is failing at.

Que 2 hours of the full cycle of anger, sadness, pleading, and finally acepting that it had finally happened I had gone insane. The code was to documentation best practise correct and it still had the same error.

I the cheaked the DB on a whim and I found that my code was not wrong and it was doing exactly what I wanted the data however had a single record that was old and the schema had change juuussstt enoigh to break everything at that record. One 3 secound deletion later code ran perfectly.

Holy fucking dickballs, AWS cloud platform is one of the most UX unfriendly piles of fuckery I have witnessed.

It starts off okay and then you have to use it for many hours a day.
API gateway is assfucked backwards in its layout and how it displays. Why have things go horizontally across the screen rather than flow down so I can scroll. Also when I add a method to a resource why the god damn fuck do I need to select it from the smallest drop down imaginable when you have HALF MY POXY SCREEN TAKEN UP IN LITERAL WHITESPACE NEXT TO IT.

Now I get on to the dynamodb interface whoever designed must have been some form of insane cause it is as clunky as a donkey in clogs.

Finally, Lambda console, look I get it UX is not you strong point. but WHO IS THE SADISTIC FUCKOFF WHO WANTED TO HAVE TWO SCROLLABLE TEXT AREAS THAT CAN NOT BE FUCKING EXPANDED SO I CAN SEE MORE THAN FOUR LINES OF THE FUCKING OUTPUT.

*grumble* 12hrs a day of this bullshit *grumble*

I have always wanted too work on lossless compression technology. I have just never had the time to go after it. Or do I really know where to start lol

Oh god that feeling when you get a complicated process to work the way you want it too. It is especially good due to the fact that it has been a psychological barrier in this project for a while.

Wow Angular2 you are beautiful.

I loved you early on angular 1.x but by the end we drifted apart driven by our diffrent needs. I needed a manageable code base and more excitement you needed to stay the way you are. I respect you for that, but we are not right for each other anymore.

I have been hurt Angular2 i may not fully heal but you provide me with what I need. Developing on you is a pleasure that feels like a full object orientated experience. Most of all developing on you is *fast* your seperation of concerns tickles me in all the right ways. The suger you provide with your decorators, classes, abstract classes and interfaces makes me weak at the knees.

Keep growing and improving Angular 2. I think we shall have many projects together.

What the fuck student. Why in fuck would you submit a python assignment in word. So that all the formatting you know the stuff that tells python how to run the code all fucks up. How the fuck can I mark this.

FUCK YOU APPLE. I am trying to build an ionic app. Generating the certificates to fucking sign a DEVELOPER BUILD of an apple product is more pain than I thought possible. Does not help i dont own the apple computer i am trying to build on.

Best part of being a Dev us that we are basically wizards.

Now stay with me on this. At our command is the ability to think a solution to a problem and only using our minds and some gestures we can create entire worlds (games) .

We can create software and devices that can literally allow people to walk again.

We can connect people who are not even on the same planet as us (Sace Station) and have full conversations with them.

I don't know, there are limits to what we can do but give us some time and we can keep pushing them further and further.
