When you find out all of your new fellow web devs are all from boot camps, and you spend more time teaching them than getting your work done. New job time maybe?

2 weeks into a new project, it goes from "let's get this web app done quickly" to "No see now it's a fully scaled SaaS solution. And why are you following the designs we have you?!" this is what makes me want to update my resume.

PMs are getting to me so much and ruining so much in this industry that I'm considering leaving it. I'm heavily considering teaching instead. I don't need someone who doesn't even hold a degree in a related field telling me what to do, giving me shit, and telling me I'm wrong. I have a masters in this, you assholes.

Was hating my new job. Turns out my PM is new and was assigning me tasks outside the scope of what I do. But yeah PM, keep pushing for a shiny front end to an internal tool. Not. Happening.

When you get hired for backend work and are tasked with nothing but front-end work. I gave up a solid position for this?!

Software communities with dead chats and shitty documentation that call themselves "highly active". You aren't fooling anyone
