"I used to be a developer back in the days"
yep ... maybe this is true - but the fact is: I'm the developer and you aren't - do your fucking work and don't bother me with stuff you don't understand ...1
I work in a company, where prototypes become instantly a product... People are far from being an expert in the technologies we use (technologies which were chosen by management without any further research).
Timeframes are more than short, so there is no chance to learn what you need to know to be able to create something really maintainable and stable.
Guess what - that shit is going to be installed at the customer site, where neither we nor them know what to fucking do if something breaks ...
How do you guys motivate yourself to finish private side projects?
This is merely a rant about my incompetence to stay motivated until I finished a project just for and by myself... Most of the time I start coding until I figured out how it works and then mostly never touch it again. And this is fucking silly16
After seeing many of these duck posts here, I want to show mine :)
Can someone tell me what it is with that rubber ducks? I got mine from a friendsome time ago :P2
Damn MacBook can't read my SD card... Damn work notebook can't read my SD card... Private notebook also couldn't read the fucking SD card and additionally the fucking microSD-to-SD adapter is molten now... I guess this is mnot my day... *aaargh*5
Someone got a tip how to start contributing to open source projects? I really want to spend some time to help out but I have some problems finding something small to begin with. It seems that everything i find needs some kind of specialist know how.
So my plan is to start with some small things to work myself up to bigger projects
Who the fuck puts the dynamic title of a blog post into the href attribute without escaping double quotes and shit? AARRRRGH
