Calling Chinese "chinks" is stupid and racist regardless of your experiences with Alibaba.

@lamka02sk I see your point... If you find a way to set a margin or padding let us know ;)

Aren't the taskbar icons the same height as your taskbar? Reducing the height of the taskbar will make them smaller, right?

You should read this: https://stackoverflow.com/a/...

@N00bPancakes you're not going to use all classes or functions from bootstrap or jQuery are you? So yeah, overkill.
-
Also, having fewer dependencies is a good thing.
-
@N00bPancakes, I'ts not wrong per se, and I am grateful to have used both bootstrap and jQuery. Also I feel both have helped create further improvements in newer versions of CSS and JS, so good job. However, nowadays both are overkill. You can just use modern JS and CSS and transpile your code for older browsers. It keeps your app smaller, it makes your HTML cleaner and you'll learn some frontend development in the process.

I once thought I was assigning an email to a colleague of mine and added an internal message that said something like "we are not going to do this shit, go ahead and tell them". As you can already guess, this was not an internal message, but was an email that I sent to a list of almost 15 thousand people.... Oops.
Shit happens, but don't feel embarrassed about it. You are probably the only one who really cares. -
Maybe try Yarn? It often works better IMHO.

@C0D4 it's not in a bad place, but a prominent one. I have a standard keyboard but want to optimize my usage of it. Caps lock is closer to my fingers than Enter, Control or Backspace which feels like a waste.
-
I figured... Has been around for years and of course you should use it 😀.

This "hot reload", is it like a watch in webpack when developing or are you talking about something that has to do with deployment?

Since your criteria are quite broad, this book is nice:
A Short History of Nearly Everything -
@DevRage you could buy other ones? For example, see https://amazon.com/gp/aw/...

Costar stabilizers, which are standard on a Filco keyboard. If your spacebar rattles you can lube the stabilizers. Make sure to use lube that is safe to use on plastics.

Bipolar commuter.

@Stuxnet nice, thank you!

@Bybit260 , a solution to this problem might be come soon. See https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/....
I have to agree though with most of you here, simply using Linux is probably the smartest move. I have been running docker on Windows in that past but eventually also switched to Linux. The only reason for me to occasionally use Windows is because Adobe refuses to make their software available on Linux. -
Maybe consider WSL (2)?

@PonySlaystation the command key?

Also, in the Americas, a pineapple symbolizes hospitality. I have heard once that if you are a guest and the host replaces a pineapple, this means it's time to leave. Not sure if this is really true or ever happens though.

In Italy, lentils symbolize good fortune, so they are associated with New Year's Eve, but also weddings.
