My mom doesn't even know what I'm doing. She doesn't even asked much, cause she's from the old generation, and just accept the things as it is. My mom doesn't even send messages. She use phone just for calls.
My siblings didn't know that I am a dev, they never asked.
My other half? She always seeks my help on IT things. And I always explain to her bit by bit, and looks like she understand a bit or two. I just hope that she didn't bored. Oh yeah, we're not married yet. -
Sorry, but no sorry.
I don't see that it is ok to make stupid of other people. I mean, it is ok for non-IT people/non-specialist/students didn't know that HTML programmer is not a thing or we can't just turn of the problem/bugs if sth gone wrong.
They aren't stupid. They just misinformed. Just smile (or laugh?) and explain to them.
No one is born knowledgeable of everything. We even learn how to walk, how to read, how to program.
By doing mistakes.3 -
My codes has mutate from a minor bug to a monstrous one.
It happened when I try to fix the minor bug. Looks like I add more bugs instead.4 -
One company was looking for a developer, so they found my FB profile (yeah, Facebook). They scan my profile and contact me via Messenger and offer me a job. At the same time my previous company was in financial crisis and I'm the only staff left, so I felt so bored.
I give them a visit, then, voila, today is my first day there. Despite a bit far from my home, but it have wonderful workplace and apply good development practices. I'm comfortable here thank God. :)2 -
When my old boss from previous company called me to take on a project that their current developers didn't able to finish. I return to my old office like a saviour of the day 😝5

The mind of The Flash. You know, able to think quickly and fast. Then I can solve a lot problems in a nick of time, or learn a new concept or language quickly.
Yeah, that'll help me a lot.1 -
Back-end stuffs, while I know how to do front-end, but I choose not to.
But for freelance project i do full stack though. -
These days are the best days of my life, up till now.
My best friend said yes to my proposal, I got a job at my dream company with higher payment, and no issue at all after my uat like last month.
I hope my codes doesn't ruined my day 😂😂😂2 -
The moment when I stay overnight at office to finish installation and deployment of several applications in the Linux server.
At noon, project leader said, we should use Windows server. And then I officially completed a full day entertaining the demand.
I'm glad I love my jobs.2 -
So the client ask for a new super urgent request and want to see it completed in 10 minutes.
Not that I can't do it, I just need 2-3 minutes to do it, but because of their rudeness, I left the job for my little cute interns who work at my company.
Takes her more than hours to complete.
Sorry client. LOL1 -
I rarely codes in the morning, it's just not the time. I can't focus.
My inspiration comes at night. That's the right moment for me. I sometimes wish that my office hour is at night 😂
How about you?13 -
#non-IT
I proposed to my best friend like last month. Until now she gives no answer.
I love her so much that it sickens me now. Silences are killing me.12 -
So today is Monday. A bug report comes asking to be fix. I feels weird reading the report. Then I check the codes.
SOMEONE MESSING WITH MY CODES!!!
The other developer codes a very un-dynamic function that gives birth to bugs. Know what? He replaced my original codes with his faulty codes. 😑 😐3 -
It is when I'm doing my fyp during my college studies. I in-charge on the front end part, but i do a lot of debugging for back end part because my teammates aren't very good at it.
full of coding day and night, i found it is enjoyable 😁😁😁
from then i consider my career to be a web developer. and here i am 🤓 -
