						I'm 1 through 3 right now. trying to get back to it.
 -

						Doesnt matter. I'm just a person who keeps getting punched in the face by this shitty browser in my development process. if ur a web developer, u know the pain.
 -

						honestly, I mean it in the nicest way. these are good programmers. better than me in many ways. I'm just surprised how quickly a few simple commands can bring them to their knees.
 -

						@linuxxx in this case, looks like sequelize. which btw, I hear is very good. I'm still Chucking normal old sql queries like u, I'm fine with it but u gotta do what works for u. just make sure it's not injectable. good luck either way.
 -

						here's where they tell u there's something that's gonna make ur life better. but it may not. but it maaaay. :)
 -

						I just wanna say how much I'm enjoying the Eclipse hatred here. I mean I thought it sucked but I've really only used it and visual studio, everything else has been code editors. u get jet brains ReSharper in visual studio, life is sweet. but eclipse, I just don't get. it just seems in the way to me when doing java.

						@dontPanic I agree. stay out of the vs ide for one. get comfy with visual studio code and get ur plug-ins setup right. currently Im using Cmder for terminal stuff and I loving it.
 -

						let's see that thing!!
 -

						guilty
 -

						I'd say your over emphasizing Git as a skill set. it's a code repo that u manage using some git commands. it's not that big a deal.
 -

						@tpalmerstudios stop creepin. lol
 -

						@reduxtris thanks reduxtris. I'm still stuck on hot loading so maybe I will.
 -

						and it wasn't really babel after all. I had screwed with my public path to my app.js (react router) in webpack. but the transpiler seemed to not be transpiling. smh. that was half a day there. jeezus.
 -

						don't forget that visual studio ide hate here. it is strong. well the install at least. ☝
 -

						@dfox what are the chances that guy is on here??
 -

						if (mom.state==shoeInHand)
{
exit program
} -

						I actually think mechanics and automotive engineers are not that different intellectually. they are problem solvers. they have the same drive in life basically.
 -

						I'd go for the cross platform open source option first. frankly I'm really liking dotnet core so far except for its reliance on visual studio still sometimes at times. like if u need that tooling preview, u need visual studio. Microsoft needs to get off that ide tit
 -

						don't correct that name!!!
 -

						@mtcool112 they make great dev companions. if only they could get me more up to speed on some of these Javascript frameworks.
 -

						@fatlard1993
I actually got that impression but if people just wanna post their dogs here at this point, that's fine. I'm cool with whatever. -

						@thmnmlst prob need to start a dev cat post. :)
 -

						@helloworld don't get ur party's in a wad. I posted my dogs under my desk where I develop. they are always there when I dev so my initial post was dev related. not a fan of Facebook myself.
 -

						I do keep hearing people say things lately like coding is the easy part. it's a ridiculous thing to say.
 -

						@georgelynch my thought exactly.
 -

						people are a little overzealous with the down votes on there.
 -

						Def gym. u need more health in ur life. programming is already a creative endeavor. Def add an instrument when and if u can, but physical health is very important. great for the mind too.
 -

						bad ass desk though. what movie was this?
 -

						react and maybe Go.
 -

						Jesus christ u guys are young. I feel old. lol
