    I actually find JS lacking a good, mature debugger, that kind of keeps up with the advancements.

    But I guess that's a symptom rather than a failure. Just a symptom that it's on the process of becoming mature.

    I mean it for real.

    You know, people accuse C and C++ (and Debian, and such) of being "slow" in keeping up.

    But they are oh so much more robust in return.

    JS is the antithesis. It prizes novelty over robustness, which is a symptom of immature languages.
