So I just read about Tim Sneath leaving MS to join Google, and now I hate my life :)
We have those tools for cross platform apps
1. Xamarin
2. React Native
3. Flutter (dart)
4. Ionic
5. ??? (am I still missing something?)

FOR FUCK SAKE not only I had to learn three programming languages to be able to do mobile apps now I need to learn JS shit for mobile development cuz obviously this is the "trend" of the fucked up future and I'm sure people will keep on coming up with shitty frameworks and some random fucked up customer will request to use that shitty framework ...

Sorry had to get it out of my system :)

A way to kill developers is to create a new fucking technology or language .. I mean come on It’s hard to recall the stuff you did and gain a new one it’s like you are trying to convert a byte data type to a long data type...

@rui725 well we can always ignore but then comes that fucking "trend" that people (noob ones) just love how it is pronounced and want to use it
I'm ok with learning new stuff but not going down the road just because that shit has a cool name or cool syntax.
If it solves the problem then I'd use it.

Those tools I mentioned in the rant do solve maintaining multiple code bases, but I don't think they are mature enough to take the place of native code

js is way over used. languages have a purpose, and javascript's is on the web

    @calmyourtities 100000000% agree, thank you

    Xamarin is c# not javascript

Titanium, the one this app is made of and sucks (my opinion) and it is JS

Be glad you've never come across Qt...

Cross platform makes sense at an enterprise level to be honest... It's nicer learning a cross platform framework than learning and maintaining 3-5 different code bases for the same thing.

I feel your pain, it's going to be okay, the world is broken, don't worry we know.
