Hi, guys after a building a website (code from scratch) do you give the source code to the client 🤔?

    I’d personally give them just the link ... I will give them the code once they paid me because they can runaway or steal your idea with just a small piece of code and outsource it to someone who gets paid cheaper than you..

    My company has a contract in place whereby, we will give the source code to the client if they request for it keeping in mind that payment is fully paid.

    Up to your decision and negotiation skills. But most of important of all as mentioned above, nothing before any payment.

    If you don't wanna give your code, state that before taking the project. Or state with-code and without-code prices.
