Well they are offering you an entry to the industry. You don't have to take it but I don't see why they should fuck off. Just don't take the offer... or would you prefer they didn't do internships at all?

You do realise that an intern is usually a net negative for the company even if he's not getting paid right? All the teaching that needs to go into an intern is quite a bit of work and slows the team down.

Will you say the same if that company is one of the Giants like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, etc? 😀 Or you just hate small startup?

@CurseMeSlowly I don't see how that would make a difference.

@davidcraven I think there will be no such complaining if big companies are not paying to their internship staffs. 🤔

@Froot what if the intern had worked hard and delivered the product just before the deadline, while the company earns from the profits of that product. Why isn't he allowed to ask for the salary he is entitled to, the CEO stating they shouldn't even be counted after giving internship is valid according to you?

@hsm59 that's a different matter then. You have full rights to get pissed off. Cz you were doing permanent position job. Why didn't you say all this before 😁

I'm pissed at the part where he says it shouldn't even be counted, but while the intern no doubt gets to learn but also has to deliver in the same time frame.

you only get what you ask for.

If you ask for 'anything', you get well..anything.

This is a bit of victim blaming granted, seeing as it takes a victimizer to create a victim.
