Btw, in Russian roulette you don’t win. The best you can do is not to lose.

So, it just prints out a random line from your history?

If you want to call it a kind of Russian Roulette, there should be a 1 in 6 chance it'll also execute the line it picked.

@localpost It'll always execute. If you consider it a bullet or not depends on the commando it executes. One out of six from a command list were most are innocent is not dangerous enough.

To do it the bash way this should be made in bash, not python... And actually, in sh mode so it can fuck you up even if you don't use bash as your daily driver.

10 people arrive. They put a thousand each on the table. You play. 9 of them are dead. The last one earned 10 thousands.

@mostr4am of course you can always add a price pool for any game. But that doesn’t change the fact that some games are by their nature about not losing. And normally Russian roulette is not played for money (or to win something).

I would even argue that by adding a price pool, you have fundamentally changed the nature of the game.

@mostr4am obviously "normally" in this context means how we normally think about it. It’s being used in movies and jokes when someone should die by chance.
