Wow I was playing Dota 2 when Windows decided to minimize it and tell me about the update timing. Almost cost me a game.

Windows started the anniversary update right after I woke it up from sleep mode and in the process not only closed all running programs but also wrecked the partitions and even after reinstallation it would throw bluescreens for months.

Microsoft really works to keep their image it seems.

But if my main game was Dota 2 I'd probably have moved my gaming PC to Linux long ago.

@deadlyRants wow that sounds freaking terrible. Windows fucked up so much in recent years with their OS I don't even know why.

Also my laptop is broken. I actually play Dota in Linux too. This is my bro laptop.

@SpaceBearOne I know that feel bruh, especially during intense moments in the game.

@Zerocchi Could have been worse, it spared the HDD with all the data so I didn't need to restore the backup.
But I had to go back to Windows 7 for a couple of months because for unknown reasons even a freshly installed Windows 10 would constantly throw bluescreens and sometimes fail to boot.

Now I only have games on that thing so if something messes up again it can't ruin my day.
