@zvyn Removing a hyphen and a single word doesn't change shit. It just shows they're a no life Grammar Nazi who needs to realize not everyone speaks English and not everyone speaks perfect English.
-
I suppose without seeing the post in question, you might think it would improve readability, but I do speak good English (and write it too,) and by no means did the edit improve on anything except possibly make the post slightly more formal.

Could you link the question? I always upvote stuff like that to counter assholes in that fucking toxic site.

@AleCx04 absolutely- thanks:) and I realise it may be a stupid question, but I'm not a hardware person

@zvyn Correcting someone is a dick move. It's kind of an "I'm better than you" attitude. Don't get me wrong, having someone critique you is fine, but only in the appropriate situation.
I've got a friend from Germany who I'm constantly helping him fix his grammar. We've established it's ok for me to correct him, and he is always very appreciative.
But correcting a complete stranger just to be a know-it-all is not ok. -
They veto'd my post because I did an edit to add the hardware I was working with
CAUSE THAT ISN'T A RELEVANT EDIT AT ALL RIGHT HAHAHAHAHA -
RAZERZ26797yHere's why I did it: Needed reputation to comment.
That's the only reason I did it and I could see why someone would do that.

Haven't used stack exchange in a while - forgot how cancerous the community is. Posted a question today on the raspberry pi forum, and someone (within a few mins of posting) edited my post to replace a hyphen with a comma, and removed the word "basically".
