I like sun flower seeds when it's warm out.... About the time of baseball season starting or the middle of fucking February for me.
Others include Oreos, goldfish, and fruit loops. -
Depending on my budget/allowance (in order):
Cashews
Almonds
Peanuts
Coding+snacking addiction as of now is peanuts. My local Walmart had 30oz bags of raw peanuts on clearance for $1.25 a bag. I bought 2 cases (12 per case). Been roasting them in the oven, little salt... ..mmmm..good.
Got a little shot-glass next to me I fill up with peanuts, take a shot...fit it up again..write some code....repeat.
Not sure how healthy it is, but its been cheap+yummy snacking while I work. -
@olback Always important. critical component when mixed with.. 1,3,7-Trimethylxanthine
-
olback107987y@Vip3rDev I drink it sometimes when I'm going to school, not really a fan of it though.

Yes, this is excellent! keep the snack ideas coming! What other snacks do you guys love too munch down on?
Could there ever be the perfect developer snack?
I wonder if your tech stack affects your snack tastes/preferences somehow? -
@LordKerwin I try to avoid things that leave a mess like Cheetos or Doritos.
And I usually have a wet wipe to clean my hands off -
@AleCx04 Never had them before until now. Coworker brought some back from a vacation they're my new favourite thing. ππ

zigmas587yAs I'm cautious about my diet due to me doing sports I tend to prefer healthy snacks, some of them include:
Banana - lots of good nutrition, keeps you full because of the fiber and potassium, very good for heart and nerve health.
Apples of course is another healthy option.
Kiwi gives a lot of benefit to your health and fitness condition as it's packed with vitamins and good nutrition!
I could go on and on about awesome things to eat that benefits you but I would run out of allowed characters count here. If you read till here, I got one piece of advice - stay away from refined sugars! π€ -
@needToRoll Ginger with chocolate eh, that sounds pretty delicious. I might have to try this!
-
@Frozencoke101 we should get all the Oreo lovers together and have a codathon. I love them a little to much
-
@jamesharrington I one up you. Take two sides with the double stuff cream and stick them together.... quadruple stuffed Oreos ftw.

This is why we're fat!!
And screw you for making me hungry now! :Pππ₯ππππ₯ͺπΏππ¨π°π₯§π -
@LordKerwin Yea I feel you. It was over 6 months before I convinced myself it was ok to place a sticker on it lmao

darkmiko3457yTea. Like, 2-3 liters of tea.
I don't like eating anything when I'm coding because I don't like to get my keyboard all sticky with food (yes, even if I use a spoon.) That, and I have this urge to rewatch some kind of anime while eating.
Oh noes, running out of dev snacks!
What's your fav dev snack when coding?
