I fucking hate those apps/websites where you can create an account but there's no fucking way of deleting it by yourself, nor even by messaging a moderator...fuck, and it's even worse when they put you on their newsletter list and the unsubscribe doesn't do anything...Fuck

Please fellow devs, if you ever work on apps that require creating an account, provide a way to delete it too.

    They can keep the account forever for all you care, the email self destructs in 10 mins.

    @yendenikhil yes I know that,but then I need to keep track of all the temporary emails I used, especially since I'm not always using LastPass.

    In the European Union, being able to delete an account completely is mandatory by law!

    I am sorry, I haven't implemented account deletion in one of my web apps yet, I haven't had the time...

    Every side that does this should be bombarded with bots that make so many new accounts that their site crashes.
    But I'm just tired and hungry. So it get a little bit angry.

    It’s so stupid that companies TOS only gives you a license to use their services. Aka access to an account and not complete control of it.

    EU law (the GDPR) obligates all service providers in eu to provide a possibility to delete all client's data, provide all stored info about the customer, provide info to the customer about how his info is handled, protected, etc. All thanks to the gdpr.
