Me every single time I can't find the damn answer anywhere...

So, that was another attempt to shout on stackoverflow community without a solid proof. (No link provided to prove it) I suspect your question to be shit and therefore you got downvoted.

For everyone accusing me for shitting on SO: I'm not.
SO is one of the most useful tools/communities for devs and I personally use it daily.
However, you're lying to yourself if you say this shit doesn't happen. There's a reason so many people are ranting about it. Questions get downvoted because they're simple/complex short/long or simply because someone finds the format of the question hitting their pet peeve. There is of course a golden middle ground everyone should attempt to reach but should the question be completely disregarded if it wasn't done absolutely perfectly?
For the people asking for a link: I'll provide you with an example as soon as i get time to find it again

I have seen this too. An example was a question where someone asked "in angular how can I change the date format" someone replied with a valid answer but the question was marked duplicate of "how to format a date in jquery".. well the answer is the same in both places but seemed weird they were downvoted

Just because the answer is the same does not mean the question is the same. Fair enough linking the other question because then the asker gets his answer but down voting them both seems pointless. No problem tho because I upvoted both question and answer.
