Left and right unite! I've spoken with a boomer today about politics and got triggered more about politics than ever before. I thought that I didn't care anymore. We have to do something about the boomer! That privileged by TWO parents raised wealthy boomer said that everything is alright. Dude, my generation is raised bad because two parents worked and the zoomer literally has no houses left to rent OR buy anymore and there are no plans building new ones at all. It's the biggest fuck you ever. If I were a zoomer I would've been blind from anger. Maybe that's why people die, their attitude makes us extinct at a certain point. He said that they don't deserve a house with their 24h working attitude. That's debatable but I think the zoomer is right, we work too much. When I had a family for a while I realized that. It's only alright to work full time if you're single and maybe in a relationship, but two parents nearly full time is too much. Not sure if the zoomer understand they but only wants to game even more but that's not the point. The work less attitude is a good thing, even I as workaholic agrees to that. I'm only workaholic because I don't have a life. I just realized that if you have a life, the amount we work is crazy. I really couldn't give the attention I wanted to the kiddo and partner.

So again, left and right, we're being distracted! Unite and GET THEM!

If the zoomer still believed in voting, they would've been extinct by now.

We had sketches ik the Netherlands "Political party against the citizen. Vote for us and fuck you!". I swear to God, boomers would vote that if it existed under the idea of "Lives so good, it can be less, it's ok". He said before or after mentioning his two cars, moped, drone and bought house with quite a tummy. Caring about the climate but not about the children of tomorrow. The climate doesn't matter much anymore if people don't take kids anymore because it's too expensive, no place to live and not enough time to raise them. Also, kidding, they don't care about climate either. Totally blinded by the 70 years of perfect life.

I don't complain about life, but saying we're doing fine as a boomer, stfu! The milennials do also not have that much to complain, but the sooner, hell yes they have. Holy f. Why would you work at all if you can't get a place to live. Maybe this is the way we extinct. Egoism.

My god. He was my example 😕 The former computer expert of the family before I got born and dominated him to the bone 😕 It was brutal 😕 He had no chance 😕 KARMA BITCH 😁

Ah fuck, nobody reads such long not it related forbidden rants. Oh no, please don't call the moderator 😁😁😁😁

The moderator does not always shows up, but if he does, accounts get lost. Maybe that happened to ostream. I've heard he didn't delete himself.

Boomers should be banned from voting or exercising any political responsibility.

Anyway, if there’s a position of dictator opening in Europe (even better if it’s all Europe), please HMU, I have a few ideas.

    @Tounai

Trudeau is resigning, so Canada has an opening:

@retoor sounds like you might have found a high grade boomer ;P

From what I hear the issue with property is such a deep problem because they are used as safe investments (that's why they are so expensive). And why they tend to get snapped up by investment firms instead of going to people who need it.

I'm there shouldn't be a 8 (actually 9 because lunch isn't paid) hour work day, but 2 6 hour work shifts per day, that way everyone can still go to stores and it reduces stress all around. BTW I was speaking to some boomers I know and the way they did it was work 4 10 hour days and then have an extra day off (I don't think that's possible with a lot of places anymore)
  • 2
@Tounai a lot of young generation (prolly rust cat ear people like you) are thinking about dictatorship being a better option. We'll, we'll see, because America atm :p They democratically chose a kind of dictator and let's see how it goes after for years. I actually believe that Trump can be good for Amerika and maybe smth the country needs for a while but not for long. Buts let's not go there now.

Issue with dictator is that prolly a lot of people get whatever they dreamed of and a few literally nothing usefull. A democracy at least guarantees that nobody gets what he wants and that makes us equal 😂

But removing voters right from boomers also came to mind today by me but also decided that we can't do that to the people who've built this country, because they did. But their time is over, their current way of thinking became dangerous. Way more destructive than any eighty or lefty. I was shocked. Because the real real real housing crisis still has to come I guess and it will.

@Demolishun Canadians are the nicest people on earth. How's it possible to become a hated president ik that country? Imagine how hard he sucked.

He's on pictures with black people. Oh, he just be such a great person and leader. I think he got dunked by them and he applaud while happening by the look on his face on the pictures. And no, dunking is not a basketball term in this scenario but I think those guys were basketball dudes.

@BordedDev ooooeeehh. First thing, what you describe is American. American has hauses but have the issue you describe going on. The dutch literally do not have houses left because we didn't build them. Only a few are left, and those few have the prices. My friend moving to ukraine sold uid house with 170.000 profit while just have it owned 8 years or so. That's how scarce a house is. It's not just a money thing. It's a no house left thing.

Boomers worked harder than us. Fact. True. I also think they were maybe even better in their profession than us at our ages. Maybe we're more effective due automation. There's also a change that the zoomers will dominate the fuck out of us with AI in near future having less knowledge.

But watch our for their stories: "I walked to school". My dad literally said that. But did you know there were schools everywhere back then? His school was barely a kilometer away I learnt later so he didn't lie. Nice joke dad. All those schools are gone.
  • 4
Also, do you see all those nice roads trough the woods and stuff that makes you think "how the fuck did they do that? How did they get the resource? Who's job was that?". I know the answer. It will surprise you. And no, we did not import people from different countries for work we didn't want to do this time just to complain about them years later :p
  • 1
    @retoor
First off, you know too much about the cat-eared people to be innocent. I don’t wanna know why you are interested by them

Then, I only want dictatorship if and only if I am the dictator. Anything else in a dictatorship can turn shitty in no time.

As for boomers, what they built is dogshit. Look at the state of western countries. Time to ban those leeches who don’t understand anyway.
  • 3
Yea they really don't have a foot in reality....

My favourite one from geriatrics is "Yea things cost less back then but we made less"

Okay gramps. You were a train driver and sure you weren't rich by any stretch of imagination but you still had a free standing house in a good area, your 3 kids each had their own room and went to decent schools oh and you and the other blue collars could somehow all afford each other's services

idk people have really bad ideas left and right

why would this one be upsetting compared to all the rest?

I think one good thing is that one person with a bad opinion is harmless. they can't change the masses. but if the masses all believe a stupid thing, that's when you've got a problem. you've also got a problem if there's... "The Crowd" sort of manipulation that can sick mobs of people at specific people or groups. this seems like a far bigger problem to me than some exception with a stupid, nasty, or delusional opinion. when they're alone nobody takes them seriously and the whole thing is a harmless aberration

though once your neighbours start chanting kill all Russians and you clearly have Russian features I did sweat a little

/r/millennials subreddit is a constant existential crisis. if you think they have nothing to complain about you can browse it. it's actually pretty funny and I found it validating. when I was growing up I didn't know why people were like that and I saw this ending... seems for them it took them a couple decades to realize the same thing my intuitions just simply told me, and all the while I was ignored saying it back then 😁
  • 1
@Demolishun he's resigned but he hasn't so we all hate him even more

also his replacement is just another Trudeau but more robotic and more bullheaded / unaware than Trudeau

and the party that will win afterwards is just licking Israel's balls. the guy doesn't look so good since it became known he is going to win. now he's touring all the Jewish things and he looks like he's aged 10-20 years. his hair is turning grey and he's not as witty as he was, seems to have trouble thinking, processes thoughts and information slow, looks sleepless. wtf I don't want him as the prime minister now. wtf have they been doing to him

Canada is just all kinds of fucked

@BordedDev property issue is because world economic forum said you will own nothing and be happy

they're trying to create a post-property world for everyone but them, so they can pervert all of economics with their rent-seeking. anyone rich or into finance knows the only true valuable thing you can own is "assets". this means property. either you own land and you can farm it or mine it, either you own a factory or some automation facility and you can process one resources into another more useful resource (manufacturing), or you own nothing... and inflation makes you poorer forever

if you own all the things and make sure others can own nothing, you will get rich and they will get poor. world economic forum is an outcrop of a group that was meant to take over the world into a one world government via economic means. so by owning all the things and making sure you can't own them, they can subjugate you via rent-seeking (which isn't even capitalism; it's an aberration)

    @retoor lol

everything is literally double the price it was 4 years ago in Canada. not only that... I think we now have less stores. like if I'm trying to find a place to buy a coffee maker I can't find a place to buy a coffee maker

and this guy keeps just automatically depositing money into people's banks accounts. which is making the inflation worse. I know because he's sent me x3 the amount of advertised by the news money; they can't even do that right. the whole government is a joke

we got Africans stealing cars by the FREIGHT SHIP and the cops just say to leave your keys in your mailbox... um?

food banks ran out of food years ago. and the homelessness problem is so bad... how do you have thousands of people wandering homeless in -30c weather? now I hear they're getting violent... hobos have never been violent here before. before they asked for money, now they shake you down for money...

... and people getting stabbed by criminals that then get let out a couple days later...
  • 2
@TheBeardedOne "things cost less but we made less" which is why price parity is a much better metric. it's very low now compared to before
  • 3
@jestdotty and the media gaslights and says it isn't happening.
  • 1
@Demolishun scarier yet is when I meet people that believe the media!

in my mind I dont believe people would believe the media... I don't think most Canadians do. it has been well known for decades and not hidden that our news stations and media as a general are heavily subsidized by the government, so media being "bought for" was never a hump we had to go over

there's an even bigger problem though... Canadians are super shilled online. our government undoubtedly funds it, and that does mess with some people and it makes me nauseated to witness. because that part isn't public knowledge, but it's 100% happening... I can just tell from watching it. that's the part people get captured by

@retoor It's here in NL as well, that's why they had to make law changes for it in Amsterdam. And I assume new build is a problem like the one in the UK where there is just too much red tape. (I know they're building, they've been doing that for 2 years across the street now)

I wasn't saying "boomer work harder" I just meant they had more options to work the system to their benefit, more flexibility in management. I know several people that have deals with their companies that they can just go for a couple of hours to pick up their kids from school, but nothing as flexible as "just work the 40 hours"

Also, I walked to school! In both summer and winter! Uphill! There we snakes!
  • 3
@jestdotty BTW this also how a lot of "cheap" subscription services like Uber work(ed). Heavily undercut and starve the old system, when they are gone, spike the "cost" massively
  • 2
@Tounai can't upvote your post. The boomers were way stronger people than we were. Probably driven by the positive times they lived in. In comparison to them, we really, really suck tho. They made a beautiful world, but it's time to go for them. Magic wonderland is over, it's time for more critical thoughts. He was like "Look how good we still have it". I said "Germany does it better and is a bit cheaper to live mostly.". Look at the winners, not about how much better you are than the losers. As long Germany is performing even slightly better, we should remain critic.
  • 2
@jestdotty millennial are also raised in a economy with changes to buy a house if you weren't a complete idiot. And I didn't say that millentials have nothing to complain about, as i said, we're not raised, there was not a parent at home. That's terrible. But a zoomer soon has:

    1. No parent at home

    2. No decent house

    3. Well, they probably have some money, but they need it because they will OWN NOTHING and have to pay for EVERYTHING.

    That generation is so fucked.

I also think that the zoomer generation are a bunch of lazy bastards, but at this point - that doesn't even matter. They should go on strike! If they had any leverage instead of killing themselves for self genocide :P
  • 2
@BordedDev Yeah, but uber has problems now. They screwed over their drivers in NL offering them lower pay and they have to accept it. If you say smth about it, they just fire you. They don't have a real contract with Uber. They are 'ZZP'. AKA employee with no rights.
  • 2
@BordedDev Yeah, keep the walking to school story for your kids :P
  • 1
@jestdotty Yeah, but don't gforget that it's just a 'group of people'. They actually have nothing to say and just keep some presentations. It's not needed to go full psycho about as what many people do.

They don't have the power they want, else Trump would've never happened, and Trump had to talk at davos. That cocksucker said: "Mrrrrr PRESIDENT. It's a nice HONOR!" * clap clap clap *. "Nice to see you again, mr president.". Fuck you, that was the worst thing that could happen to you ever. You are friends with everyone but the winner is too lazy to busy for you :P You got grabbed in the puss :P In a good way, I would say the best way, never seen a way like that before.

Schwabii is a old fuck, he'll die before destroying the world because he lacks power. Make WEF nothing again!
  • 1
@retoor Yeah, it was one of the things why I was proud of the NL government for railing them. But from what I understand, they are required to have a taxi license, right? Unlike other countries, they should be able to say "fuck you" and work for another company. I think that was one of the strong pre-internet things, people realised how good they can work together and just strike, but now how do you even organise that as uber drivers?

Also, since I'm considered both a zoomer and a millennial by different people (1996), I do agree it can be hard to get a good foothold, but there will be new opportunities. As a society, we will have to do something about how corps are trying to become proxy-dictator/monarchies though

I will! And you won't be able to stop me! MWHAHAHAHAHA
  • 2
@jestdotty here in Netherlands 90% believes media and sees it as a kinda bible. Wake up and sleep with it. That made the corona time extra hard. 90% was totally psycho into corona, and 10% wasnt. I was the 10% that said, meh i'm just not so worried. That triggered people beyond. Then i said: "I see no reason to vaccinate on my age, listen to what the people said about it. It's not rational. But if i take a vaccine, made within are race between 4 companies and skipped decent testing" I take a risk for sure. So no, i won't do it. It make people go crazy.

We went so far in the Netherlands, that even not knowing how that would ever be executed, i was scared for a forced vaccination. Ugh what a time.

Reporters during that time? To freaking jail of refusing to 'be critical to protect democracy'. Fuck off.
  • 1
@BordedDev well, to prevent getting raped by the big companies, we need regulation. The regulation people rapes us too these days, the government using us as an ATM more and more. They're just killing the competition. I'm looking at you, EU.

Sigh, y'know. That regulation has its charm in someway. Because of that, it's harder to compete with other countries but maybe we should not compete in everything, Lets focus on the real stuff like having good food supply and social benefits and stay sane and just apply many regulations on foreign countries. If that makes us go slower, meh, maybe it's fine.

@retoor zoomers are in crypto so they'll be richer than millennials. they often are already

I was "friends" with a zoomer with severe ADHD and violent family genetics (his iq was like 90)... guy's first basic bitch job paid more than mine. not sure how he did it. thing is he still couldn't be arsed to stay at the job. he would get bored and quit in weeks or months, and repeat. then just couch surf or something. I didn't quite figure out where he lived or how, possible he was conning sugar mommies cuz he was a weirdo like that

millennials are fucked because they "did everything right". they are by far the poorest demographic. they followed all the rules, and when you follow instead of set you get the short end of the stick. the zoomers set as a generation. the millennials would abandon you and eat you alive if you tried to set; that's just not how we do things here! millennials are the new boomer mentality; of being bullheaded stubborn simps though.

@retoor WEF is just a front of a bigger octopus, like the Nazis in that marvel series... forget what the faction was called. ah, hydra.

klaus is just the local caretaker. he is irrelevant. he doesn't run things. he's just a small campaign manager
