You know why i hate lenovo with a burning passion? Not because they make industrial waste and sell it. Not because they trick non tech people into buying their garbage. No, i hate them because their shitass laptops dont even fit in my rubbish bin.

    @AlexDeLarge i was weeping as the owner explained to me that he bought this junk because 'it offered the best value for price', what translates to 'i could have bought a dell with the same specs for $10 extra'
  • 6
    This made my day 😂

    At least they’re environmentally conscious by preventing you throwing it out

    @zarazas Dell. Im getting them for everyone in my family, if one had any issue, they fixed it in the official dell center in a few days for free, but that happened twice in ~10 years and 14 machines. Asus is also not bad, but i have no experience with them.

    @lolicon thankfully it aint mine but i can mail you random parts of plastic that broke off when unscrewing stuff from this.

    Strange, I have Thinkpad for five years now,true not high quality but I didn't buy it to go start a war with it
  • 4
    Because OP bought the cheapest crap on the market.
  • 1
    @Linux no, i had at least 2 iq and didnt buy a lenovo, but i fixed everything from this to thinkpads, sure, you can get a decent one for 1k$, but you can get a decent other brand for 500
  • 2
    @sharktits to me it was the opposite, got my Lenovo for 850$ when HP and Toshiba of same specs were 1200$+
  • 8
    @sharktits
    I have never seen a decent laptop below $500, they are all crap and belong in the bin
  • 0
    @Linux 'decent' is it serves its original purpose for at least 3 years without major damage assuming fair use. I had a lot like that in the past years.

    @sharktits
    Well, atleast we can agree that ThinkPads is the only good laptops from Lenovo? ;) The rest is crap,

    I'd buy a thinkpad if it came with legacy mode. I'd buy a Satellite if I were after something I can throw at people and still use. I'd buy a Gram if I flew a lot. For every other occasion I'd buy an Elitebook.

    I wouldn't touch a Dell if I had the fate of humanity in my hands. I wouldn't touch a Dell if it were the cure to my depression. I wouldn't touch a Dell if it would stop my penis from shrivelling in the cold.

    With the exception of the old 2003 Inspiron I have that still runs Windows 7 nicely, I have never come across a Dell machine that I thought was remotely acceptable.

    @Linux usable? Yeah. Good? Mayhaps. For everything else there is mastercard.

    What a bitter🍄 burning🔥 rant !

    @ViRaS ill have you know that mushrooms r fucking delicious and not bitter at all
  • 0
    @sharktits That's not a mushroom. That's a toadstool.

    @sharktits I couldn't find anything for "bitter" so I used it for its poisonous nature as poisons are generally considered bitter.

    Ouch. This hurts my heart, because I love Lenovo. Specifically the thinkpad T series.

    Now they will start making laptops,
    Trashcan size. So its easy to dump them.
    New feature approved.

    I've got a lenovo Y510p for 6 years now havent had problems yet even though I didnt go easy on it.

    Finally. Someone else gets it. ThinkPads stopped being good when Lenovo bought them. Bloatware, terrible trackpads, get crashy and sluggish without fail to me in business environment. Ugh.

    My Windows notebook is an HP, but I spend most my time on my MacBook Pro and my Chromebook Pixel.

    yes apple are much better they actually make their computers into trash bins

    Update, this piece of shit broke down again after a few weeks of operating semi-normally
  • 2
    @sharktits #lenovoquality

    I love my Lenovo so far. Granted, I'm on #2 because of extreme user error and essentially testing in prod, but it's holding on pretty well as I don't take nearly as good care of it as I should.

    But it definitely won't fit in the trash bin in that picture..
