@anantankur1 the task view history didn't still since last update ever show any history anyway (you mean that?), probably because I never actually shutdown my pc

I recently did a windows update and can confirm that Edge gets installed on your desktop. #abortupdate

@Alice I don't see it in task manager when Edge is closed

@Alice actually that's a normal behaviour for all the UWPs , they always stay in that state when they're off, they consume almost no resources, in the rare case the system needs more ram they could be killed, if you see you'll see other UWPs (if you have any) ... funny that for me there is no Edge but all the other UWPs

Luckily this can be taken care of by a single dose antibiotic
