    As a newbie you should definitely choose Ubuntu over Arch. 😏

    Honestly as frustrating the first couple of days may be installing things like Arch or Gentoo it'll save your ass in the long run.

    So if you have the time Arch is decent to start with.

    If you just quickly want to play with Ubuntu is fine.

    @rootshell said it quite well.

    - You want to suffer through it? Go for an Arch.
    - You want to learn a out it slowly but surely? Go for Ubuntu (or better yet, Debian)

    @th4t puppy is missing some key stuff if you plan on learning Linux for your job, but for personal curiosity or just getting used to working in terminal it’s pretty great.

    @wrkuijpers Fedora is not bad see also CentOS

    @jeeper I like fedora because it hits the sweet spot between general usability and support for programming, CentOS still lacks in the usability part (in my opinion) but is very secure. Good recommendation.

    @Melan ElementaryOS will give you all the simplicity of Ubuntu with out all the bullshit. Plus it looks nicer. I absolutely love it and use it daily. I also have a BlackArch install that I'm still customizing. It's great but I don't recommend starting there.

    I already made some research and watch some review , I think I'll go for Manjaro for now and try other distros when I'm more knowledgeable about linux os anyway thanks @theNSA and @AlpineLinnix :)
