I once hated PHP.. then I started using Laravel. Now I can create my Shopify and SaaS apps in a fraction of the time using OOP. Laravel isn’t perfect, I wish it was a bit more lightweight, but it does ORM the right way.

@200OK I was gonna comment the exact same thing. I started interning at a small company a month ago, they only use laravel for backend development so I had to agree on learning it in order to stay.
It's not that bad, eloquent is amazing.
I still love node though.
