I personally much prefer Android, but competition is rarely a bad thing.

I wonder when they will transform android to normal linux...

Just a reminder, there has also been a time when Symbian had 85% market share. Things can change quickly.

@sam0 I think SailfishOS is what you might want to consider if you want normal Linux.

But not RIP Blackberry or Symbian?
Windows Phone 8.1/10 are both really nice systems. They just suffer from lack of apps.

I dislike everything Java - I have ever liked it. Windows was running mobile devices way before any product by Google and Apple. Windows 10 mobile works really well and has a beautiful interface- it just came out too late but fortunes change. I used to absolutely rely on Netscape, I.E., Opera, chrome etc. at different times and now it's Firefox.
