    I don't understand the obsession over screen size. That's what I don't understand. The Pixel 2 is the perfect amount of screen. These 99% screen phones can fuck off. Over engineered piles of shit.

    @Stuxnet Agreed. And after those 6" screen size, they want to push the super high DPI. Honestly, I'd rather have 100 DPI phone with a battery that lasts longer than the other way around (I know that some phones allow downscaling, but it's still unnecessary).

    @Stuxnet for phones sure, but for laptops screen size is everything

    @Jilano I want a bright screen and a ~5000 mAh battery. (And expandable storage or 128/256 gb storage).

    When we reach the point where the selfie camera has to be rolled out with a little motor, that's unnecessary.

    @j4cobgarby Yea that's true. But phones with motorized selfie cameras is bullshit.

    Something like the infinity display (I think that's what it's called) on the XPS is a good thing to become standard

    @Stuxnet motorised selfie camera?? What does that do?

    Also I have to admit I do like my galaxy s8 screen, even though I know its not necessary

    This. The selfie camera isn't even on the front of the phone

    @Stuxnet okay that is ridiculous

    @Stuxnet That is just stupid... Extreme screen to body ratio, who cares? Who cares about that stupid notch? The only place where I would give the slightest bit of a fuck about bezel size is in multihead desktop display configurations so that I can stack big-ass displays next to each other and seamlessly move windows across them. Not that I currently have that - heck, currently not even my resolutions match - nor do I have the money for it.. but if I did, that's where I'd care about bezel size. And in my pocket.. making the phone smaller but retaining screen real estate, sure. But this is just ridiculous. Probably the price for that stupid little motor will be too.. the future of phones? No thanks :) I'm buying a new phone in the next few days and it's going to be an old one. The Nexus 6P from 2015. It does what I need to, and that's just fine for me. Meanwhile all of the current designs are just shit IMO.

    @Condor I went to a Pixel XL. My uncle paid $850 or so for it preorder. Got it for $250 refurb on Amazon.

    And it's still better than my Moto G5 Plus was (same price lol)

    But yeah that phone is insanely stupid.

    I also agree with the big screens part. Hopefully when I get an actual job I can afford that technology lol
