Stress cuts your lifespan so yeah... it probably depends whether you're the type of developer who works the healthy way (reasonable predictable hours, standing up against deathmarches and other craziness) or if you're the type of developer who works all hours of the day, all days of the week and goes along with all kinds of crazy.
