I once had to update an old Perl script, with zero passing tests, 800 line functions, that I couldn't even get to run locally and had to debug entirely inside its Docker container.

@Jakuho Yes, it's what happens when developers decide the old way of doing things is wrong and decide to insert their pet language/framework into the system instead of following the convention of what's already there. There was a web frontend component that had a mix of vanilla JS, jQuery, and Prototype.

I still have to occasionally maintain a classic ASP app that has comments in it like "Created with Frontpage". Sadly it is the core application for the business that uses it.

@csharper We just retired our last Access application. It wasn't 97, but close. It was 2002.
