Does anyone have a linux compatible video editing software to recommend? Could be a paid one, I just want a good native alternative.

    I use Openshot and it's ok for me. But it's just to create small videos from my Gopro every now and then. No big things with special effects and masses of crossfades.

    I think most people use kdenlive and blender, though there's nothing comparable to what's available on windows or mac

    Lightworks is a professional video cut solution for Holywood movies and it's freeware.

    Kdenlive is nice. They also have an AppImage available so you can get it running without a hassle
