liver failure is the single shittiest feeling you're gonna experience. I know what it feels like to be cut open, also amnesia, also paranoia, also depression, but let me tell you: liver failure is the fucking worst.

imagine sprinting one mile while thirsty in 110F heat while having severe food poisoning and flu. that's how it feels, pretty much

the backstory is that my eye surgeon forgot to give me anesthesia drops, so once clinic-administered anesthesia wore off, the pain became unbearable, so I ate a lot of nimesulide I've prepared in advance.

it turnt out I was allergic to it.

Lemme tell you, kidney stones aren't exactly a walk in a park either...

Recurring kidney stones, that is.. One passes through -- 7 more are brewing. Multiplying every year

@kiki hope you get better soon

@atheist wild medical story, glad you survived.

When I was 16, my left lung collapsed. Extremely painful, something called spontaneous pneumothorax. Anyway they have to stab a one way valve into your chest cavity to let the air out and re expand the lung. Also extremely painful.

Doctor said to give me 50cc of morphine(i don't remember the real number, so let's use that). The nurse thought it was high so decided to give me half and see how I reacted before giving the other half. Thank God! I'm allergic and my heart stopped. I had passed out and fell off the bed onto the floor. Woke up being recussitated(sp?), with hives all my body and vomiting everywhere. I managed to vomit so hard the valve in my chest dislodged and came out, letting air back in and collapsing my lung again.

I ended up with 5 of these things between 16 and 17. They stopped with surgical removal of part of my left lung. Now I float crooked.
