hell165968y@pyrotazz regardless of age I always say : hey, looks a lightning fast way to do this take you take 5 seconds to do.
they always forget 😂😂 -
edboe458y@azous I once worked on a colleague's laptop. somehow his mousewheel click was refresh. took me a solid 3 minutes to figure out why no pages opened but it kept reloading

620hun81908ySlightly offtopic, but have you heard of Ctrl+Backspace/Del/Arrows? My girlfriends told me about it and it sped up my coding soooo much.
-
xroad23188yIt could just be my mouse but you'd have to have the dexterity of a hand surgeon to be able to mouse wheel click without scrolling a little and missing the link

620hun81908y@edboe Here, I'm one (although not professional). At least I lived 21 years without anyone telling me.

I middle click so much... Especially when Im in the middle of a wikipedia hole...
-
ghostITM38yIt's like those people who keep hitting f5 hoping some magic would happen.. or worse yet, right click>refresh... shudder....

Wheel click, and I am over 30!
I had a colleague ten years ago, who copied and pasted with the Edit menu. Not the right click menu, the actual roll down menu beside File. Professional dev. Excruciating. -
I can't help it but somehow I keep reading Middle Finger every time someone said middle click in this post! What's wrong with me today!? 😂

johnc456708yMouse wheel click all the time, it's so frustrating when I have to work on machines through KVM that blocks mouse wheel clicks, so annoying!

@azous And C-down and C-up: Jump to next empty line. Navigating with incremental search is also wonderful, once you get used to it (and can touch type).

Though, dragging and dropping the link is quite useful. Especially when you have multiple browser environments
I'm yet to meet someone who opens links in new tabs using the mouse wheel button or Ctrl+ click.
Literally everybody I know right clicks and them clicks "open in new tab".
Is this really something nobody does? Am I crazy? what's going on?
What do you think?
