Linnucks or Lineaxe

Was talking to someone today and his 'lineaxe' threw me a lot.

I pronounce it like "shit." Lmao

Just like Linus but then with an x

Yeah Polish pronounciation is Linuks which sounds like that: lɪnəks

Honestly that old English fart saying lineaxe (which he also repeated 3 times) and saying so in an impertinent tone trying to correct me threw me off.

And most he does on his MacBook is ringing my extension asking me to fix it.

Hopefully I'm not alone here but I pronounce it 'lin - ix'

Personally I tend to say it as Linnucks, but it seems like my pronunciation is wrong :/
