Got an interview in 3 hours for a senior backend php engineer position. If it doesn't work out im gonna get stuck in a job as a wordpress dev which i hate. pray for me.

How are you able to jump from Wordpress dev to senior backend PHP?

@growling WP and plugins are in PHP. The suck doesn't come out of the blue, after all.

Wordpress sucks. Was orignally agreed that i make systems using CakePHP. One week after starting Suddenly i get told to do 4 websites using wordpress in a month. Thats when i started applying. The wp thing has been going on for two months only

I wish luck to you. If you are selected please start learning a PHP framework. Being stuck in Wordpress is not the right decision

@helmerjunior i have a year experience with CakePHP which is my primary framework that i use throughout all my freelance projects and old job. Before that i used vanilla php. Im not even a wordpress dev i just install themes and change css :/

Wordpress for php? I dont know which ones worse.
