    funny it is harder than they say, but id does save you a lot of time when you get to know it.

    WordPress does make a lot of things easy. Like adding critical bugs that are a pain in the ass to track down and debug.

    @davidricky114 i used wordpress for 6 mounth and hate it all, and one day i made my own cms based on padrino/sinatra 🤣 and i find my zen

    @davidricky114 Just start your own theme from scratch. it's really easy once you understand.

    I do get why or how so many devs can't work with WP smoothly. It's such a treat to work with. The documentation is so thorough. if I find an issue, someone has usually encountered it before me.

    Using WordPress makes you an integrator, not a dev. Go complain on IntegratorRant or something...

    @superroot so hard on integrators

    @mundo03 Perhaps I am traumatized a bit by seeing so many web applications being "hacked" together by WP integrators.

    We see a lot of shit applications when companies knock on our door to have a look at their "sick" systems built on shit like that.

    Usually when we feel sorry for the company we stage it up. If freak WP applications had a debug log, the first line would read: [WARNING] Put me out of my misery. 😵

    @superroot lol that is true one must know what WP and it's plugins are for and when a real app is needed

    @mundo03 Making a decision tree is quite simple for when to use WordPress. Do you want a simple blog? Yes -> Use WordPress : No -> Literally anything else.

    Not to mention the shitty security and incompatible plugin updates.

    @superroot also true, but man, some plugins can actually do some work while you develop. having something that works to buy you time.
