Spryker .... or how to drive a developer only into insanity

Really guys, are there any spryker developers here on devrant? How do you get over the constant desire to kill yourself to end the pain??

I looked at it once, seemed promising for b2b but can it handle being a b2b and b2c platform?

Might be worth the headache if it can cater for both at the same time.

@C0D4 in theory it can! It has a lot of modules that you can add. But some are incompatible.

We are going to create a B2B REST-based angular app and oh wonder, there are no B2B rest endpoints available ...

Did you run through the bootcamp? Takes a day or two ... after an hour I knew that this platform is shit ....

It feels that you constantly write a lot of boilerplate code that does nothing usefull.

To come to the point where you write actualy business logic you have to create dozends of files in dozends of folders - all with special naming conventions, that unfortunately are not obvious at all.

At the end you have a git commit with 15+ files and have nothing but an empty REST rest reponse, because the logic that fills the actual response is not yet done. Time it takes: 1h+, WTFs/min: uncountable
