Relationship between ranting and productivity.

When productivity increases, ranting increases as you are dealing with a lot of shit. So ranting is actually beneficial to high productivity.

When productivity decreases below zero because you have a lot of fucking problems, your ranting also increases sharply.

The only peace zone is with moderate, positive or negative, productivity and low ranting, i.e when you are not doing much

    Genius! woah, are you one of those fabeld "Data Scientists"? :o

    I highly doubt about that y=ax^2 function and the lack of scientific evidence but I think there is a chace it's true.

    @leduyquang753 what lack of scientific evidence? it's a graph, it's the reason we exist. It is scientific in itself. I feel enlightened!
  • 2
    @heyheni I mean the reason why ranting = productivity^2.a where a belongs to R.
  • 4
    But isn’t that show that the less productivity we are the more we rant?
  • 2
    @leduyquang753 i would flip those axis to make
    Productivity = Ranting^2

    What does negative productivity mean?
  • 1
    @electrineer well, when you basically waste time doing useless things...
  • 2
    @heyheni yes I can basically explain *anything* with just the same graph
  • 3
    @deviloper that would be zero productivity. Negative productivity must be work to make the product worse. Like implementing DRM.

    @devTea well, in the positive side when productivity increases also ranting increases. The trick is when productivity is negative. Maybe the concept of "negative" productivity must be defined better as somebody noticed.

    In the case of negative productivity anyway you are so much frustrated that rants also increase.

    Sure the theory can be improved or tested..
  • 1
    @electrineer oh yes so probably there will be an exponential rant increase tending to infinity

    YOu ForGOt To laBEl tHE axIS.
  • 1
    @electrineer you are absolutely right.
    It should be a
    Productivity = Ranting^3
    Graph since you laugh your ass off the less productive you make it, hence the negative Ranting
  • 1
    @bioDan laughing like a maniac when you destruct the product

    @Gregozor2121 I'm not sure about the unit of measurement of ranting. Devrants/sec? And productivity? Number of bugs fixed/sec? Negative if bugs are introduced?
