Oh boy its actually embarassing...

I was in a cosplay event, when I realized I only have 30 minutes till I check in for my first day in the job as a support agent.

I never had the time to change because of traffic and I was commuting so I spent the next 9 hours in side the company premises wearing a japanese schoolgirl uniform.

...I got quite everyone's attention, even the HR... ( well at least the HR just reprimanded me about that >_<)

Note to self: remember to give yourself 30 minutes more of allowance....

@Cultist sadly true, its not proper attire either so I got reprimanded by HR for that.

Yikes, definitely make sure to leave yourself more spare time~ I always try leave myself half an hour extra and just take my switch~

@evilian I don't think Japanese seifuku isn't exactly what the company calls "smart casual", hence HR waivered that in.

And it makes sense as well since they made us wear anything at the right time during events but you need to wear something appropriate at least.

This is the truest devRant experience. Never seen one of those costumes in real life though, so I'm in doubt.

@caramelCase send a complain to HR themselves stating that on your first day you dressed up to express yourself and the fact that your behavior was reprehended made you feel discriminated

@arcsector They exist btw, you just need to find a good tailor to do it for you...

Or go to the extremes and buy it straight off Japan (but that's not really good for my money since 12% VAT on Import)
