Jeans and a T-shirt, sometimes a hoodie or a jacket
My workplace is pretty casual, even people applying aren't expected to dress up. Only the sales/management wear suits, but no ties
Shorts or slippers are too far though
And I wear pyama's when working from home -
Depends if there's a call with a more serious client, but I did before have just halfsuit on and in literal underwear when it was too hot or other reasons, other times just some print shirt or comfortable hoodie.
-
@JoshBent can't say I wouldn't do the same bc I sure asf would. Literally no need to put the full get up on.
-
Not necessarily, but my wife has a dress code and I am a representation of her, so I dress pretty much exactly like my devrant profile pic (collared shirt, etc). She has my wardrobe hanging in the closet every day. I'm a blessed man.
-
No "uniform" but we can't wear shorts. Personally I have a few collared shirts and a few pairs of slacks I rotate through.
-
@sylar182 @PaperTrail that's how I'm planning to dress more like this semester.
Which during the winter it's never actually that cold here and since I'm only outside while walking between classes, I've always worn a patterned button down with a fleece vest... Aka Jared from silicon valley.
Honestly close to half my winter wardrobe looks like that and it's probably gonna get closer to 2/3 like that. -
@Stuxnet drop the vest and add a ponytail and you've got my daily wear. Occasionally I come in wearing a hoodie but no one cares as long as I don't have to see clients that day.
-
@rutee07 yes I used to wear basketball shorts and t-shirts everywhere I went, but not you won't see me out in public with that on. It helps more than people realize
@M1sf3t was helping someone build some shit a while back and almost dropped a can of paint on my feet. I don't have any boots or anything, so I had on an old pair of Sanuk slide ons. My toes were that close to being fucked up -
@M1sf3t I have a relative that used to work in construction who has basically no toes and his foot us screwed up big time bc he dropped a beam on it or something like that.
Don't think they have protection for that lmao -
@Nanos fucking hell I'd quit before working in 130.
I've had to work outside in direct sunlight with it about 100 and a heat index peaking at 115. Never again -
Most days i just wear underwear. Sometimes I add a shirt. That’s now that I’m working from home for myself again. At my last company, I generally wore suits, no tie or jeans and a button down/polo.
-
Company has no dress code. I've seen people in everything from full suits to shorts and T shirt. I definitely dress up when we're meeting with the higher-ups though.
-
suprano38145yBusiness casual. Fridays are more flexible to wear jeans but I’m allergic to jeans. Ha!

joas18915yLast week I wore sports shirt, collage pants and construction work socks. So my dress code is laid back. We don't have a proper dress code at work for developers, but since it's an open-space office, clients could come from the door straight to dev-area, so... casual?
Does your company have a dress code? What do you wear for an average day?
And if you're a student, what do you wear normally?
