In need of a job where I can make the kind of money I want, I applied to xteam (I'm not based in the US which makes a big obstacle to getting a job there) and no reply. I applied to G2I and they said they only want full time (So I guess my profile is good). So, I'm hoping to finish my current project quickly to apply again.
@xteam, you really should revise your hiring process, it's really disheartening to not receive any feedback from a platform that says it focuses on community.

Why do you want to got to the USA while that racist president tighten up imigration laws by the day? If you're a french speaking Haitian wouldn't it be more comfortable to go to Quebec Canada?
And in european countries like Germany, Scandinavia and France there is big demand for programmers.
I wish you best of luck in getting that sweet sweet 1. world salery. 👍

I don't know. Maybe familiarity. But I will be checking those options. I don't necessarily want to leave the country (There's a lot of problems for sure, but there's also the Haitian vibe). I just wanted a position where I can actually afford to travel (which I'd like a lot). and xteam seemed a really nice choice...

@skydhash yeah totally relatable the caribbean sun is surely more pleasant than snowy winter in said places 😄.
So you may want to have a look at www.remoteok.io a job plattfom for digital nomads.

I know that, especially not so centrally located small companies in Germany, can't get their jobs filled as there are too few programmers in supply. So here some more, mostly german remote job platforms.
