When I was very young, I remember I couldn't remember anyone's name.

I just yelled "HEY!" until the right guy noticed me.

(that was when I was about 5 years old.)

    I can't remember names even now, but instead of using hey, I wait until somebody else uses there name. If there is nobody else around, default: print("Hey");

    @p100sch That's also my go to
    Can't be arsed to remember that many names for people I'll just pass by in a corridor.

    I always tell people in advance I can't remember names. Today I kept calling the colleague behind me a totally different name even though we talk to each other all day. Oops.

    You prefered fanout exchanges over direct exchanges, nothing wrong with that :)

    @R2-D2 I would have to do this multiple times a day. So eighter they think I'm an idiot for that can't remember theire name or they think the same for not remembering theire surname. Sad, I know.

    @R2-D2 that is so evil-genius. I love the idea. you made me smile for a solid 20 seconds there

    My memory serves me well except for two things.
    - I never remember a name for the first 50 times I need it.
    - I never remember the seat I booked on the train without checking my ticket again.

    It does not mean I don't care. I just lack the ssd used for names and the punch card used for low integers of train tickets. Never had them. But my cousin knows the names of everyone in town so it is not hereditary.

    if (is_null($name) {

    echo $this->yell(

    'HEY',

    $yellLikeSomeSortOfSociallyAwkwardIdiot = true);

    }

    (how do you properly format code on this website btw?)

    @slashasdf you don't: it's not designed for sharing code. Sometimes you send a screenshot but the compression algorithm destroys text. So it's better to give a link if you really want to share some code.

    Made me think of when I was as a child in a blind person simulator where we had to walk in total darkness with other people. I lost contact to my dad and after a while asked where he was. Of course some other dad asked which particular dad I meant.

    @electrineer Yeah, I thought so since I never saw any properly formatted code in comment text.

    Still new here so I appreciate the info mate! :)

    @slashasdf There's this bot, though.

    @highlight
    for(int a = 5;;) {
    continue;
    }
