Can you link or name some of your favorite beautifully designed Android apps in Google play?
Just wanted to have some design inspiration...

    - Look at the google apps stack. They have some intersesting transitions.
    - VLC integrated some cool looking buttons.

Droidfish - because it isn't fancy crap so that the UI doesn't get into the way. Also, it can load further chess engine with no hassle - just copy them on the storage via USB, done.

Free42 - it's so close to my trusty old HP42SII that I had during my study years.

Both on them OSS and also on F-Droid.

The simple apps. (Simple gallery, simple contacts, ...). You can even setup one color schema and use it among all simple apps.

Not exactly Android specific, Awwwards is always a good place to browse around.

@C0D4 Now THAT'S sarcasm right there.

@Fast-Nop sometimes there's some decent hints of inspiration to be found, but it's also a designer fest so things can be really bad in there too at times.

@C0D4 The problem with their design is that it's sometimes pretty, but always useless. That's why it's IMO unsuited for anything that shall also serve a purpose, like real apps or websites. The result will invariably become a useless mess, even if pretty.

Reaching nice form while totally disregarding function is actually cheap design. It might qualify as art, though I think much modern art as well as architecture is just ugly trash anyway.

@Fast-Nop 😂true that. I was meaning the finer details in the designs, layouts, forms ect. The full view is usually over the top though.
