You know this amazing Windows feature where you can log in with MS email?

Q: Guess what happens if you have flaky WIFI at home and boot up windows10.

A: the boot process takes at least half an hour. Still waiting for the login window to appear...

    Try this :
    switch off the boot process by using the force switch off button( i guess for most of the laptops, its pressing the power button for 10 seconds)
    switch off the wify and
    then try turning laptop on again

    @electrineer yes I did :) but the windows VM is for my work matters -- not my personal one. Too bad I can't get away w/o it :/

    @Afrographics poorly tbh 😁 anyway, it's just a vm with a single app in it [and libreoffice]. I can nuke and recreate it any time, once it becomes too annoying
